CLICK HERE for info.Art was a career plasterer and lifelong member of OPCMIA Local 254. Over the course of his career he worked all over the state with Les File Drywall, PCI of Santa Fe, and Harrison Contracting.  He eventually rose within the ranks of Local 254 to become the Apprenticeship Coordinator for their Apprenticeship program and eventually Business Manager of the Local.  He became Business Manager of Local 254 two and a half years ago. He was very passionate about training and worked tirelessly for his membership in his capacity as both Coordinator and eventually Business Manager.  Art was looking forward to the upcoming negotiations to try and continue to improve the working and economic conditions for his membership. Art was willing to go anywhere he was needed to support any cause that concerned improving the lives of working men and women. Likewise, he was ready at a moment's notice to take action and oppose any cause that would be a detriment to their livelihood.  Art was an avid outdoorsman from the Taos area of Northern NM and especially loved horseracing.

Rest in peace.

In Solidarity.
